All products from Leather Italia, Inc. are backed by a one-year warranty starting from the date of purchase. This warranty assures that all items are free from material and workmanship defects during this period, exclusively for the original purchaser. It's crucial to note that this warranty is non-transferable and exclusively applicable to the retailer who sold the product. Consumers should address any warranty claims through the retailer.

Here are some general limitations to the warranty:

1. Alterations made to the product post-shipment from Leather Italia, Inc. will void the warranty.
2. Any aftermarket protective treatments applied after opening the original factory packing will also void the warranty.
3. Damages incurred during freight or handling are not considered defects under this warranty.
4. The warranty applies under normal residential usage conditions and does not cover negligence, misuse, inadequate maintenance, exposure to water, chemicals, accidents, or any non-residential use, including commercial use.
5. Leather Italia, Inc. retains the right to determine the responsibilities regarding factory, transportation, dealers, and consumers.
6. Before authorizing replacement or allowance, defective products must be inspected by a factory representative. All service or replacements must receive approval from the Customer Service Department.
7. Leather Italia, Inc. is not responsible for the costs associated with returning merchandise to the dealer.

Additionally, the warranty is void under the following conditions:

1. Any unauthorized modifications by the dealer, consumer, or other parties not authorized by Leather Italia, Inc. will void the warranty.
2. Floor samples or products designated as "AS IS" at the time of purchase are not covered.
3. The warranty exclusively covers residential use and excludes industrial, commercial, institutional, or rental use.
4. Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse is not covered.
5. Normal wear and tear is not covered.
6. Damages incurred during transportation, assembly, or maintenance are not covered.
7. Furniture exposed to extreme temperatures or humidity, direct sunlight, or abuse will void the warranty.
