Description

Unbound by geographical design, Modern Mood presents itself as an evolution of design choices, spanning a variety of decades and design movements, while maintaining an unmistakably modern aesthetic that transcends time. The 90-piece collection includes bedroom, dining room, home office, accent and occasional items characterized by substantive forms with soft architectural details. Elevated materials and brushed metal accents in a warm pewter finish are evident throughout the collection, including metal banding and edging as well as marble and glass accents. Crafted with flat cut quartered oak veneer with wire-brushed detailing, Modern Mood is presented in two finishes: Mink and Diamond. Delivering a dark, earthy brown with notes of black, Mink delivers a timeless aesthetic. A much lighter presentation is achieved with the crystal-like alabaster and pewter hues of the Diamond finish, delivering a soft sophistication.

Softly sophisticated with a clean modern profile and luxe mixture of materials, the Modern Mood Bachelor’s Chest is a stunning statement piece. The case has rounded corners and a plinth base and offers five self-closing drawers. The top two drawers are felt-lined, and the bottom drawer is cedar-lined. Crafted of Oak Veneers, the nightstand is finished in the serene Diamond color and accented by metal pulls wrapped in leather.

Finish Construction : Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
Frame Construction : Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
Drawer Construction : Hooker Furniture offers full height, full depth and full width drawers for maximum storage capacity. All drawers have strong, time-tested English or French dovetail construction, for years of problem-free use. Plywood drawer bottoms are attached to plywood drawer sides for strength and durability. Metal side guides or wood on wood guide systems operate smoothly.

Limited Warranty

All Hooker Furniture, Inc. products are warranted for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Hooker Furniture, Inc. warrants all its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a term of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This warranty is made SOLELY TO THE RETAILER and is NOT TRANSFERABLE under any circumstances. It is the retailer’s responsibility to contact Hooker Furniture, Inc. with a claim. We will not handle claims from consumers directly; all requests must go through the retailer who sold the merchandise to the consumer. We advise all retailers to retain invoices for a minimum of one (1) year for warranty purposes.

General Limitations

This warranty is voided if the product is modified or altered in any way after shipment from Hooker Furniture, Inc.
This warranty is voided if any aftermarket protective treatments are applied to the product after the original factory packaging has been opened.
Freight or handling damages are not considered defects under this warranty.
This warranty applies under the conditions of normal residential usage. It does not apply to defects or damage resulting from negligence, abuse, or misuse—including, but not limited to, inadequate or improper maintenance, exposure to water, salt air, chemicals, accidents, or any use for which the product was not designed, or for commercial use (including rental, business, commercial, institutional, or any non-residential use), nor does it cover ordinary wear-and-tear.
Hooker Furniture, Inc. reserves the right to determine the amount of factory, transportation, dealers, and consumer responsibility.
It will be necessary to have defective products inspected by a factory representative before replacement or allowance can be authorized. All service, replacements, etc. must be approved by our Customer Service Department.
Hooker Furniture, Inc. shall neither bear responsibility for the cost of return nor any other cost which the consumer may incidentally incur in returning the merchandise to the dealer.

Warranty is void for the following conditions:

Any product modification by dealer, consumer, or other parties not authorized by Hooker Furniture, Inc. will void this warranty.
Floor samples sold, or products designated “AS IS” at the time of purchase are not covered by the warranty.
This warranty covers furniture intended for residential use only, and does not cover any industrial, commercial, institutional, or rental use.
Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse.
Normal wear and tear.
Damages incurred during transportation, assembly, or maintenance.
Furniture that has been abused, exposed to extreme temperatures or humidity, or direct sunlight.

This warranty applies to all Hooker Furniture, Inc. products, replacing any previous warranties, and is subject to change without notice.
